I had Robere do it and he survived valiantly for about 3 turns before he died due to the sheer amount of damage coming his way.Īs for the actual bosses, if you can you should try and lure out the other bosses and enemies while the real boss hangs back (I managed this by freezing him while the rest went after my melee units) and just bombard him with magic and ranged attacks. The revolt being a suicide mission is a annoying for sure, they honestly should just have whomever releases them run back to the main force as the miners cannot kill the enemy troops at all and you just end up with either stalling for time with that character or them getting wiped out. This then leads to having to undo or restart the battle just for having followed along with the suggestion of what you're meant to do. Once the character starts the revolt that character should get back to you army and the hero enemies should lose their defence bonuses once the troops remaining in the castle are gone otherwise there is no point in starting the revolt as you have to go and kill all the troops anyway which means your better off just chock pointing them in one of the gates before moving into the castle proper or after triggering the revolt you have to move int the castle slightly and then move around inside the castle (without triggering the hero enemies and their troops) to kill the ones that went outside. Then when you actually going into the castle there is three hero enemies that don't lose their hero defence bonus (the one for having their troops still alive) even when all the other enemies (which are inside the castle after the miners revolt starts) have been killed so you can do more than a few points of damage at a time. However whatever character you send to release the miners is suicided as the miners die so quickly so your fighting one character short. All my characters actually fighting are in their masterclass so I don't find the enemy being masterclasses so much of a problem. I agree that this level is really unbalanced, but for slightly different reasons.
